It is solid, thick metal and very well made. It comes with all the screws needed to attach it to the wall and is small enough to be easily hidden behind a plant or out of sight wherever you want. It is ridiculously easy to change the code and it opens every time. I am very happy with this purchase and am comfortable mounting this somewhere outside my house. I have only locked myself out a few times but this will prevent that from ever happening again. No need to trust a neighbor with your keys anymore, you can call them and tell them the code if you can't get home and you need them to go inside. I will be getting another one of these for my mom. It is very thick and sturdy and the actual lock works great. It's an ease to open once you enter the correct code. Resetting the code is also very easy. I gave the steps in my video although there are detailed instructions that come with it. I'm trying to find an inconspicuous area to put this though as I don't feel secure putting it near the door. Great option to hide your spare key.
