They worked great until today when one of the knobs came off in my wife's hand. I really need a replacement with the same keying - and at less than two months, they're outside the return window. The installation was a snap. I read other reviews about this product on other Amazon offerings. There are some negatives and I can understand that if you are not familiar with installing locks you will find problems. No matter how well everything is aligned with previously installed locks, when replacing that lock there is usually some tweaking needed to make the new lock work as well. If you are installing a lock on a new door, you need good equipment for the installation. Some of the cheap installation kits available are just that, cheap and will usually create more problems than they are worth. As far as these locks or anything else you buy from Amazon where some items are broken upon receipt, well that's one of the reasons I buy from Amazon. They will take care of it for you.
